Bo bursts into Kate's office as it seems John and Kate are about to make love. Kate tries to explain that Marlena and Roman are dead. Bo drops the bomb that they are alive! John and Kate are shocked and don't believe it. Bo tells them about the secret code Roman made up when they were kids and that the clicking message he has been receiving has to be from Roman!

Doug, at the island penthouse, guards the makeshift transmitter device. A hooded mystery man watches from the terrace and creates a distraction with a remote control; Doug leaves the transmitter unattended. We see the man in the hood is Tony and he destroys the machine. Tony uses a walkie-talkie to confirm that "It's done; the plan proceeds."

In Salem, Bo, Tek, and John react to Celeste's premonition that all the victims of the serial killer are alive. John and Tek don't buy it. Lexie is reeling over the possibility that Abe might not be dead and that she mispronounced everyone dead.

Abe arrives as Roman suffers under the effects of the injection. Abe is aghast and wonders what Marlena has done. Marlena realizes the syringe was intended to help Roman as he gets better; Abe tells Marlena that Jennifer is bad off. Marlena goes to Jennifer and we realize that Jennifer is dying.

On the island, Marlena, Abe, and Roman question Tony about saying that Jack is dead. Tony says it's just a logical conclusion given how long Jack's been missing and the danger in the jungle. Jennifer is hysterical to think that Jack might be dead. Patrick and Hope assure her they will find him. Hope and Patrick set off to find Jack, as Marlena, Roman, Abe, Tony and Jennifer (on a litter with her baby) head back to "New Salem."

Bo, John, Caroline, and Victor are stunned and relieved when six of the jungle refugees, Roman, Marlena, Abe, Tony, Jennifer, and her baby arrive at the barrier. John is overwhelmed with joy seeing Doc alive. Bo panics: where's Hope?! Roman reassures him that Hope is fine; she and Patrick went to search for Jack. Bo is desperate to find Hope. Tony claims he can disengage the force field with his Zen powers.

On the island, Hope is desperate to find Jack and reunite him with Jennifer. Hope and Patrick talk about Bo and Billie's past. Hope tells Patrick that she's glad Billie's far away from Salem and Bo. Hope admits she was upset that Bo went to Europe to help find the missing Billie but she knew it was something he had to do.

Hope and Patrick try to see who the body on the ledge belongs to but a heavy fog moves in obscuring their view. Hope plans to climb down the side with a vine but after hearing Hope's voice, Bo arrives and thinks Patrick is trying to tie-up Hope.

Philip and Belle are still at Green Mountain Lodge and it looks like they will finally make love. Meanwhile, Shawn finally manages to escape from Jan and he speeds to Green Mountain on his motorcycle. When he bursts into their room, he discovers Philip and Belle have checked out. Shawn encounters a uppity waiter who confirms (in Shawn's mind) that Belle and Philip have made love.
