Kate Mansi got her big break on Days of Our Lives, when she was cast as Jack and Jennifer's daughter, Abigail. The young actress has been rising to the occasion as the confused teenager, particularly since her crush on Austin started escalating.

Days of Our Lives fans upset over Shawn Christian's exit as Daniel, this week, can cheer up. A show spokesperson confirms that the actor will be back on screen February 27.
What will Daniel's return mean for his ex-love, Jennifer, who shared a passionate kiss with him before he left Salem? According to a February sweeps feature in the new issue of Soap Opera Weekly, poor Jenn will be in turmoil, not knowing where she stands with Daniel.
"Jack has kind of stepped back. So the question becomes, 'What is going to happen for Jennifer?'" the show's head writers Marlene McPherson and Darrell Ray Thomas Jr. teased.
As for other spoilers, the scribes revealed that Sami, who's been guilt-ridden over her romp with EJ, is in for a major downfall. Meanwhile, Ian Buchanan's (Ian) arrival as the mystery man from Madison's past, "will have a huge impact" on her relationship with Brady.
Salem supercouples Bo and Hope and John and Marlena are in for some turmoil, too. The quartet will come to the "realization that they are never going to live a normal life as long as Stefano is around," explained Thomas. "There will be unexpected connections involving Alice's secrets."

Days of Our Lives' Nadia Bjorlin (ex-Chloe) and Galen Gering's (Rafe) primetime venture, Dirty Soap, has failed. After one short season, the E! reality series has been canceled.
Gering's wife, Jenna, who co-starred on the show, announced the news via Twitter. "So the word is that Dirty Soap is NOT being picked up for another season," she tweeted. "Thanks to all of u who watched. You all have been so supportive!!!"
Bjorlin confirmed that the show was nixed for a second season on Twitter, too. "Thank you all for the kind and supportive messages regarding Dirty Soap. Guess it wasn't meant to be...." tweeted the actress.
Dirty Soap gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the personal and professional lives of soap opera stars. The show was executive produced by Amber Mazzola and former daytime stars, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, who met and fell in love during their stints as Hayley and Mateo on All My Children.
Despite the show's quick demise, Bjorlin's beau, Brandon Beemer (ex-Shawn, Days; ex-Owen, The Bold and the Beautiful) was positive about the whole experience. "We had a fun run," he tweeted.
