Judi Evans Selling Cemetery Plots

Friday October 3, 2008

Judi Evans (ex-Adrienne, ex-Bonnie) has recently picked up extra work in the funeral business selling cemetery plots, according to a CNBC article written by Jane Wells. The Emmy-Award winning actress explains in her blog how being an actress can be a waiting game and how it's made her somewhat of a workaholic.

Fans may recall that Judi Evans portrayed good girl Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis from 1987 until 1991. Judi returned to DAYS in September of 2003 and played scheming, gold-digging Bonnie Lockhart, a part she portrayed until March of 2007. She returned to the role of Adrienne in May of that same year and was let go in January of 2008. Both roles helped earn her a 2008 Daytime Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress.

The actress goes on to explain in the CNBC article how truly difficult it is to find a good job without a college degree, especially in this day and age. She heard about Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary through a friend of hers and was initially hesitant about pursuing a job which dealt with death, but she soon realized that the idea of helping people through a difficult time appealed to her. Her recruiter mentioned how being an actress could work to her advantage as a pre-need counselor, since both jobs require one to be in touch with his/her feelings and the feelings of others.

Best wishes go out to Judi in her new venture, and it's obvious from reading her blog that she loves helping people in her job. Whether or not we'll see her on DAYS again remains to be seen, but as we all know by now, anything's possible on this show.

If you want to buy or sell cemetery property I suggest that you check www.cemeteryspot.org and place a free listing. You would also be wise to check on www.cemeterypropertybook.com and get the ebook; it’s the only book I know of that explains the process of buying and selling (and re-selling) all types of cemetery property.
