Carly Manning's Return
After a sixteen-year absence, Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress Crystal Chappell returned to DAYS as Dr. Carly Manning. Carly came back with quite a bang when we saw her stab and kill her husband, Lawrence Alamain. From that moment on, she boarded a plane headed to Salem and tried to contact Bo and Justin. After her plane made an emergency landing, her friend Omar took her on his boat and she tried to save Rafe's life, even stealing antibiotics from the hospital. With Bo and Hope's marriage already in trouble, the Bradys are seemingly destined to grow further apart with Bo's ex-flame back in town seeking his help. I never cared for Carly at all. She was never one of my favorites at all on the show. When Vivian comes back I hope Vivian gets back at her good for killing Lawerence. I can’t wait for Vivian too come back. I know I am going to miss Ivan though. I wish he was coming back as well.
I adored Carly, and I also followed Crystal to GL. Knowing that she chose to return as Carly has made me one VERY happy fan.
After GL ended I was afraid I wasn’t going to get my Crystal Chappell fix. But thank god for DOOL and Carly Manning, even though her screen time is not enough, at least she is back on my screen only after two weeks of withdrawals.
I have watched Crystal for the last 10 years will watch her in whatever role she takes!! Never watched DOOL before, but as long as Crystal is here, I will be too!! In the Chappell Zone!!
I liked Carly when she was on Days back in the 90’s. Thrilled to have her back reprising her role, can’t wait to see what fun & games they have written for her & Louise Sorel. Wouldn’t it be fun to bury Vivian alive, they do say payback is a *itch!
I have been a fan of Crystal’s since Carly 1.0 on DOOL. I have followed her career ever since. I have ecstatic to have her back on DOOL!! Can I start my HAPPY DAYS AHEAD DANCE?

I havent watched Days in over a decade but since my girl Crystal/Carly/Olivia is on screen I am all over it! We love ya Crystal and I can’t wait for Venice either!
I never watched any Soaps until I came across Crystal Chappell on Youtube in a scene on GL. I was hooked. Then GL went off the air and I followed her to Days. I just hope Days gives her more scene time!
I would not watch Days of our Lives if Carly was not on the show!
Loved the character Carly in the 90’s, loved Crystal Chappell. Watched Days since about 1990. I sampled GL to see what Chappell was up to in Jan. The actress is just fantastic, and looks great.
I’m excited for Days that they got Crystal back. This will be great for the show and will energize the veteran cast and elevate any story she is given. Will be good for Crystal to still be on daytime also. It’s a win-win situation.
