I’m disappointed that they’ve discontinued the little bites of previews of the next days shows they have been doing. Don’t know if anyone else misses those previews or not, but I do. Hope they bring them back. They kinda became a signature to me, something Days does that I haven’t seen other soaps do.
I miss them also. it was a little reminder of whats happening the next day in case you were to busy and forgot. enough with the rafe and carrie, and austin and abby stuff.. end it and move on.

My thoughts are that the two devastating secrets are that Hope is a Dimera and EJ is a Horton. Another one is that Zack is alive and well. Perhaps Chad is actually Zack. They have done baby switching on there before and I’m sure it’ll happen again. Lucas is coming back so he might be a part of one of the secrets. Celeste is returning so she may be involved as well. But, I think she is going to be more involved with Lexie and Abe. John Black could figure to be a secret Horton as well. Billie Reed coming back might have a connector there, too. But, one thing is for sure, it is going to be a huge development!

I just had to say how stupid the Rafe and Carrie prince and princess thing on Friday was. Get over this crap and get on with a real story. I like Rafe but this is utterly ridiculous my fast forward button is getting a real work out.
I’ll say it again and again till the writers stop writing stupid storylines and get back writing real stories that we want. Since the reboot, Days is….

Another thing, to the woman who posted last week saying my post are boring and I should not watch, well Days has always been my show and I want it to be want I’m used to, not these stupid storylines such as Rafe & Carrie dress up as a prince & princess which was totally dumb, stupid and BORING! I will watch with anticipation that the storylines will get better like it used to be!

I really the next day teasers as well. You are right on that they were like a signature. Any idea why they have stopped them? A little sneaky I think, as I sat waiting and ended up watching the opening of the next show. Just NOT a Dr Phil fan so instantly turned off the TV!!
Also not really into the Rafe Carrie thing.. and PLEASE just let Will come out.. and get it over with… having him out is going to be a much better storyline…
I LOVE the Rafe & Carrie storyline & think they could be a supercouple!!!! Not crazy about Austin & Abby. Didnt he donate bone marrow for her when she was a baby??? ALso please let WIll come out already!!! I think if Sami keeps working for Kate & Lucas comes back they’ll probably hook up AGAIN! How about Jack & Billie??

I can;t believe how mad Austin got when Carrie & Rafe were just sharing a dance. Wow!. If he had caught Carrie & Rafe naked together in bed doing the horizonal mambo I wonder how POed he would been. Just food for thought.
I cannot wait till Rafe puts his “big car” into Carrie’s “tight garage” and then Carrie will become preggars and another who’s the daddy storyline.
From time to time the previews have stopped and then they come back. No big deal. With this site you can find out what is going on anyway. I am sick,after reading the preveiws for this week, that they have Rafe and Carrie kiss! I absolutely hate that not one couple can be happy for any length of time on DOOL.
I think that EJ is a Horton. I came to that conclusion when Doug told Bo & Hope that the money Alice sent always ended up in Africa. Bill Horton went there as a doctor many years ago. Just my thoughts!
They always mention about Caroline’s famous clam chowder. I remember years ago that they always mentioned Caroline’s famous au gratin potatoes. How come they don’t mention the au gratin potatoes anymore? Plus why haven’t we seen more of Caroline? What about Kayla? I thought she was back but they only show here and there. They should bring Patch back and have stories around Kayla,Patch and Caroline for a change. Plus bring in pets for them and put them in the stories also.
I definitely miss the next day’s teaser at the end of each episode and hope they bring that back – as far as the Rafe/Carrie pairing – it just wouldn’t happen – I wish the POB would bury that storyline entirely!
Hello all other Days fans out there. I’m a 32 year old guy who always loved Days. I’m 6′2″ tall but I’m built very slender and have nice looking legs with all the curves and always though I always thought I was built like a female athlete which I was told plus I feel I have a “feminine” side. I’m also a crossdresser and keep my body,armpit and legs shaved not that I had much body hair to begin with. I love to put on my long curly wigs,make up, dresses or skirts and blouses and watch Days as my alter ego. “Paula” which my wife has name my female alter ego. Also to dispell myths. most male to female crossdressers are not gay (nothing wrong with it if it floats your boat) and I”m always attracted to beautiful women and my wife is very beautiful and is very supportive of “Paula”. Since they’re having Will come out as gay and Sonny is gay also, I think they should have a male to female crossdress character on Days. Hire a very tall slender male actor with a slight female build and have be that character. Then we would have true diversity.

I hate Carrie and Carrie drooling over Rafe! I can’t stand that miss goody-two shoes is so brazenly smitten with her sister’s husband. They are not teenagers or twenty-somethings. Sami has finally found a good man who loved her and her 4 kids. This Rafe is like another imposter. Please stop reverting to the past and childish storylines. Sami has grown a lot since Austin and Carrie left town. If Austin and Carrie serve no useful purpose then let them leave town. Bring back Phillip, Chloe, and Parker. Victor needs his son running Titan not a stranger with a past like Madison.
Have watched since the beginning of time, never missed an episode. Well, maybe 1 or 2 from a power failure, that was a bad day. Days is my only vice. LOL…Anywho, I think it is soooooooooo…..over do. Let the one’s with integrity, morals and values have some span of good loving times, an allow things to go their way for just a bit, before hitting them all up with devastation and so much commotion and drama. Focus some on the devious and stick it to them. We’ll just sit on our butts and cheer loudly.
I am so sick of the Carrie and Rafe storyline I could puke. There is no chemistry between them and it’s just plain boring. Enough already! And please don’t have Austin succumb to Abbigail’s flirtations. That would be nauseating for sure. I also agree with the others about the loss of the previews this last week. That was something I looked forward to, and sometimes would rewind and listen again because they went so fast. I do like what’s happening with Will and Abe and the controversy that’s being stirred up in those stories. All in all, I’ll keep watching, but please leave the couples alone.
YES, I do miss them too. I do think having the next day previews is a big PLUS for Days, and it does help to keep our attention. I did wonder why they DID stop showing them.
Also, I’m so ready for the show to move on from Jack. And, having Abi fall for Austin is just not interesting but it’s just off the wall, as he’s too much older and his style is more Carrie, not a very young girl, just don’t fit them. And, GREAT…I’m so glad that Daniel is back… he is just great on the show, and I DO think he and Jennifer are great together, she is who he needs now!…
But, the mistake is letting Chloe go…she was the prettiest and the most talented ever on the show…but she is a great actress, too….BRING CHLOE BACK, TOO !!!
Overall, I’m still a devoted DAYS fan.
Well, I can understand Carrie’s attraction to Rafe, I mean he is the sexiest man alive after all. This is not the Austin I remember, and I don’t like this one even a tiny bit. He and Sammie freaked out about Carrie and Rafe dancing, but if I remember correctly, when he stayed the night at their home, which Sammie insisted he do, he ended up on top of Sammie wearing only a towel. And he’s old enough to be Abigail’s father, that is such a gross story line, hope they get rid of that idea. Sammie does have a man that loves her, and he takes care of her, she doesn’t deserve him. She blamed him for Johnny’s disappearance and while he was out looking for him couldn’t wait to romp in the hay with E.J, would serve her right if she was pregnant by him for a third time. She feels guilty, rushes to renew her vows, and now she acts like something is wrong with Rafe. Carrie doesn’t seem to have as good of a chemistry with Rafe, but they both have a lot in common, common values etc. What goes around comes around, and years ago, Sammie HAD to have Austin, and lied about Will’s paternity and all, I guess hers is coming around. I wouldn’t mind seeing Carrie with Lucas even. But I like E.J and Nicole together, hope they leave that alone.
Sick of the roles for Sammi – Totally tired of the little girl pettisness of her. Either let her grow up or take her off the show. Nicole is the best actor. Didn’t like Rafe on Passions and I do not like him now. Neither John and Marlena or Carrie and Austin add to the show. What you really need is better writers……

The envelope that Hope opens tells that she and John were married.
The envelope that Hope opens tells her she is a Dimera or that Zack is still alive. The one Stefano opens tells him EJ is actually a Horton or that John Black is actually his father.
FINALLY…..Sami has consequences for her actions!!! All these years I have watched her commit one “sin” after another with very little punishment……nothing so devastating as losing the respect and love of your son. That kind of devastation from your son is something that will take it’s toll on her like nothing in her past. But…..the Carrie and Rafe thing is awful. All this time we have been told that Rafe is the one person with all these high morals that he expects from everyone….how he is such a ‘family oriented” person…..and now in mid stream….he becomes the opposite of what his personality has been betrayed since the beginning of his character. And with Carrie…another so called “goodie two shoes”…..writers you need to get your characterizations of the cast down and actually follow through with it. Believe it or not…..there can be people on soap operas who are honest, loyal, and have morals they stick to….thought we had found that in Rafe.
BRAVO chandler, you were right on point i loved it finally sami got what was coming to her. I loved the point of making her worse than her mother. we don’t need the rafe and carrie bull____ it is a waste of air time. if this is why carrie and austin were brought back you need to write them off the show with jack.give your viewing audiance some credit we deserve better than this.

Totally a jaw dropper to hear the post by Tony Leoni say these new writers are boring. Zero comprehension on that thought process since Days is getting so much better now. Before these new writers it was incredibly boring and predictable. Now there’s some spice and jazz.

Watching Days is like reading a novel, except you can see the characters. We don’t like every page we read in every book, but we still like to read. So with Days, I have learned to take the good with the bad, appreciate the good stuff and sort of mentally delete the bad. Still living for the day that EJ and Sami finally shut up and get on with the business of loving each other, but the show is fiction….so I am probably just whistling in the wind. But that’s ok, because I still tune in every day just to see what happens in the next chapter. Love to you Days fans.
