This should be proof to the producers and writers that the views want the Ej and Sami storeline.

It could be a combination of all three storylines, but there’s little doubt that the Ejami s/l is helping the ratings. I believe the ratings will continue to rise as EJ and Sami’s romance continues to flourish. Looking forward to more Ejami love!

I love the Wilson storyline. The actors have great chemistry and it is well written (a rarity for Days) imho.

The wedding is the reason for the ratings, not EJami. I

The wedding is the reason for the ratings, not EJami. I’ve seen the ratings for the actual days, and the ratings are higher on the Days Sami, Rafe and EJ are not on.

I think it’s more than one s/l that people are watching.

People knew what was going to happen at the wedding and people
watched.

I think Will/Sonny and Will’s baby is the reason people are watching.
Everyone in Salem is involved with the baby s/l. You have
people on both sides of family wanting what is best for the parent.
They are forgetting about what’s best for the baby.

I’m glad they are now thinking about that. I think a lot a people
are wondering what Nick will do to keep Will away from his daughter.

I was curious about the ratings for each day, too. Personally, I thought that the January 14 episode (where the wedding falls apart, the secret comes out, and all the fights start) was one of the best written and best balanced shows I’ve seen in AGES! From the pure, soapy drama of the wedding being interrupted by a big secret to Victor’s amusing memories of weddings of “Days gone by”, to Hope masterfully stopping the 2 year olds (Rafe & Chad) from killing each other, and everything in between. Everyone was behaving in character, the vets & kids were brilliantly interwoven, the whole town was interacting together instead of staying in their own isolated little bubbles, they tossed in some humor, and they actually remembered the show’s history.

I can’t even remember the last time I watched the whole show without fast forwarding through any of it AND totally enjoyed the whole thing! :) It was a good day :)

I would never speak for anyone else but I’m personally vested in both the Wilson storyline(though I hate Gabi’s participation in it) and the Ejami storyline, I love them both and think for the younger women specified these would be interesting stories . Don’t think you can credit anyone one couple or person with ratings, thats ridiculous and just shows a personal prejudice ,its all to do with how well the story is written and this whole week has shown a major improvement!

Whether you like Ejami or not guess this shows that they do not harm the ratings in any way!
