Morgan approaches Philip at the club and notes his arms of steel. They banter back and forth before Morgan wonders if she’s being too coy for him again. Philip states that his problem is with her father, not her. Morgan is dubious when Philip informs her that Paul was accepting bribes. They argue back and forth about her father before he tries to warn Morgan that if Paul keeps putting his future in John’s hands, things will get much worse.

EJ reapproaches Sami, who affirms that just because they’re technically husband and wife doesn’t mean that he gets to dictate her day. EJ reiterates that he was only suggesting a walk in the park. She’s not interested in “helpful hints from someone who’s only ever babied a high-powered hybrid engine.” EJ notes that at least they agree on protecting the environment. “Unfortunately, that is not a qualification for father of the year,” states Sami. EJ tells her not to begin to attack his paternal instincts, asserting that he’s a good father. Nicole interrupts and recalls how she and Lucas used to squabble like that. “I hope your make-up sex was as good as ours was,” she badgers. Maggie joins the group and didn’t realize that Nicole was a member there. “I bet that makes you wish you were still a drunk, huh?” jeers Nicole. Sami is appalled that Nicole could make such a rude comment. Jillian approaches the gang and tells Maggie how she enjoyed working out with her today. Maggie introduces Jillian to Nicole. Jillian raves how absolutely amazing Maggie did. She recites the “no investment, no return” famous quote and notes that Nicole’s assets are “bottoming out,” which amuses Sami. Maggie and Jillian talk training strategies before Jillian invites Sami and Nicole to sign up for morning sessions if they’re interested. Sami is on board, but Nicole has to think about it. Jillian lectures Nicole on taking care of her body while she’s young, warning her that age will take it’s toll. Sami remarks how Nicole keeps her body hydrated by drinking two quarts of something such as Vodka or Gin. Jillian also advises Nicole to eat something. She spanks Sami and Maggie on the behinds before walking off. “Could she be a bigger loser?” grimaces Nicole, who asks EJ if he has time to go over her divorce case. Before Maggie proceeds to shower and change, EJ offers his congratulations to Maggie on earning her certification from the Green Restaurant Association.

Morgan goes over to Philip again and affirms that her dad is his own man who owns up to his mistakes. “Would he have made those same mistakes if he hadn’t been pushed in the wrong direction?” questions Philip. Morgan suggests that he leave her dad alone and go after John instead. Philip intends to, but thought she would jump at the chance to keep her dad out of trouble. Morgan affirms that she’s not just another “sippy Southern girl” and reveals that she got her first bloody nose in a fist fight at age 11. She hops on the treadmill and expresses concern for Chelsea, who’s fighting for her life in the hospital. She is stunned that Philip didn’t even know Chelsea collapsed in his own house. Meanwhile, John lurks nearby with his eye on Philip and Morgan. Phil offers to call his dad to see what’s going on.

After Sami emerges from the steam room, Maggie approaches her and notes that she doesn’t look very refreshed. Sami recalls how Lucas saved her life and the life of the twins in the steam room last year. “And Elvis,” adds Maggie, who deduces that things aren’t going too well with her and EJ. Sami admits that she never thought she’d end up living in the “haunted mansion” with John and EJ. Maggie believes the twins seem happy. “That’s because they’re too young to understand that their mommy is married to the wrong man and living the wrong life,” explains Sami. Maggie asks if she’s seen Lucas at the prison. Sami says she tried, but Lucas refused to see her. She admits that the hardest part is trying to pretend to be happily married to EJ so he doesn’t get deported.

Meanwhile, EJ and Nicole have a drink, where Nicole remarks that “juice without Vodka is like a day without sunshine.” EJ is eager to get back to his workout and informs her that the next step in her case is to begin preliminary divorce proceedings. He warns her that Victor will do everything he can in order to stop her from walking away with a penny. He assures her that he’ll do his very best and proceeds to go check on the twins. Nicole follows him.

Sami later notices EJ, Nicole, and Allie together. “Life just got a little nastier,” says Sami before she walks over to confront them. She takes Allie and tells her enemy to stay away from her children. Allie begins to cry. “Thanks for nothing, Nicole!” fumes Sami before she storms off.

Sami wheels the twins out into the lobby and warns Nicole to either stay away from her children or she’ll regret it. Maggie and EJ are present for the showdown. “Get a life, Sami. I don’t even know which brat I was holding anyway,” mutters Nicole. “Excuse me?” asks Sami. Nicole remarks how it’s a good thing Sami didn’t have triplets, since one can’t tell who the father is without a program. An appalled Sami responds by punching Nicole in the face. EJ helps Nicole up, who reveals that she has a date with John Black tonight. This angers Sami, who vows that Nicole’s going to get it.

Phillip later calls Victor and inquires about Chelsea. Victor fills him in on Chelsea’s condition and asks him to just pray. Philip tells Morgan that Chelsea’s going to be okay and offers to get a concerned Morgan in to see her. He once again urges Morgan to tell her father to stay away from John Black, admitting that he’d hate to see her get caught in the crossfire. Meanwhile, John calls Paul and informs him that Victor’s dealing with a family crisis, so it couldn’t be a better time to make their move. He approaches Philip and Morgan and implies that it’s paramount to stay in top shape, since one never knows what’s going to hit.
