“Attention all in-flight personnel: Please return your seat backs to their, um, normal positions,” announces Jeremy as he and Nick witness Jett and Chelsea’s close encounter by the hot tub. He also gives a mocking introduction to “Nick the geek.” Jett attempts to break the tension by asking Nick what he’s doing in Vegas. “I came for the waters,” quips Nick. A confused Jett replies there are no waters in Vegas. Chelsea then asks Nick what he’s doing there. Nick claims they had a date. Chelsea reminds him that they had one until they got into a fight. “We were also supposed to spend the night together,” adds Nick. He confesses that he doesn’t remember the fight they had, which finally prompts Chelsea to ask him if he’s okay. Jeremy remarks that Nick got his head bumped and is acting super weird. Chelsea asks what happened. Nick reveals there was a bomb and asks what Jett and Chelsea were doing together. Chelsea tries to lead Nick out the door, insisting she has to work. She explains that Jett was helping her out of the hot tub, then she slipped and fell. “You never told me you were living the high life,” remarks Nick as he notices her clothes on the couch. She replies that it’s none of his business. Jett comes out of the room and suggests that Nick take a nap on the couch. Nick then asks Jett if he’s a betting man, since he predicts the odds are overwhelmingly against Jett in regards to Chelsea. He becomes belligerent towards Jett, who warns him that he doesn’t want to get knocked out. Nick claims he was just kidding. Jett tries to assure Nick that he and Chelsea are just friends and she simply slipped out of the tub. Nick admits he’d respect Jett a lot more if he just told Nick what the hell was going on. Chelsea then comes out dressed and ready to hit the bar. Nick asks her if they’re done. “Yeah Nick. So done,” she coldly replies before walking out.
Meanwhile, Jeremy pours champagne in the hot tub when Stephanie appears. They begin to get hot and heavy when Jeremy mentions how he’ll spoil her. Stephanie remembers her previous conversation with Chelsea in the hot tub. “Yeah, when you’re feeling guilty,” she replies. A defensive Jeremy wonders what’s with the guilt crack, since he claims he likes being nice. Stephanie claims she was just kidding. He queries if Max said anything to her. She says no and wonders what’s got him so uptight. He replies that he doesn’t appreciate it when his girlfriend hints that he only spoils her just to cover something up. He apologizes and conveys that some people might want to spread all kinds of lies about him. Jeremy then admits he’s involved in a side business which has made him a lot of money, warning Stephanie that greed and envy set in among other people who spread lies and try to bring him down. They argue briefly about the so-called rumors before he storms out of the hot tub to go to the casino. She offers to go with him, but he tells her to save it since he needs to get lost for a while.Outside the room, Chelsea later expresses her irritation with Nick to Jett, since Nick followed her there and it’s as though he doesn’t trust her. Jett reminds her that he did give her an out on flying to Vegas, but she chose not to take it. Chelsea remembers Jett approaching her and Nick on the beach. Chelsea remarks how embarrassing it is that Nick followed her there. Jett speculates that Nick will be alright after a cosmo and a good night’s sleep. Chelsea proposes they go party and forget about it. Back in the room, Nick changes clothes before heading down to the casino.
Max is in the casino gambling when he spots Ilsa with a man at the bar. He recalls that Ilsa was the upset girl at Bo and Hope’s house with Jeremy and wonders what she’s doing in Vegas. After the man walks off, Max approaches her and introduces himself. She gives him the cold shoulder and claims she can’t talk to him. He insists on knowing she’s alright and offers to help her. The man then confronts Max and warns him to back off. Max asserts that he’s not messing with her, he’s simply saying hi. The man tells him to do it on his own dime. A peeved Max refers to the man as a loser and suggests he stock up on those little blue pills at the hotel store. The man then takes a swing at Max and ends up missing, thus breaking glass on the bar and injuring himself. Ilsa slaps Max and yells at him to stay the hell out of her business, then storms off.
Ilsa later comes back to the bar, gives Max an icy stare, grabs her purse, then leaves. He is joined by Jett and Chelsea, who whines about Nick and believes he’s wasted. Jett adds that he took a knock to his head too.
