Miss Potato Head

By Gwen Morett, About.com

Chloe is still talking to her mom, Nancy, on the phone outside the pub about Lucas breaking house arrest and having sex with him in an elevator. Nicole appears just in time to overhear this. Chloe hangs up and rushes into the pub. “You little tramp!” calls Nicole, who follows her. Chloe tells her to go away. Sami arrives just in time to hear Nicole saying that Lucas and Chloe had sex. She doesn’t believe it at first, but Chloe rubs it in and suggests that she go ask Lucas. Nicole snarks how Lucas is a horn dog and how she did the nasty with him day and night when they were married. Chloe gives her a recap of the events leading up to her elevator sexcapade with Lucas. Sami chastises Chloe for seducing him into breaking house arrest. Chloe accuses her of treating both E.J. and Lucas like puppets trying to decide which one to cut loose. An angry Sami retaliates by throwing mashed potatoes at Chloe. “You freaking psycho! What’s wrong with you?” seethes Chloe before she throws rolls at Sami. Nicole gets in the middle of the foot fight and the claws come out between Sami and Chloe. Pete tries to pull Sami off of Chloe. A customer (played by American Gladiator Mike O’Hearn) breaks them up. Pete thanks him for the nice work. Sami excoriates Chloe for ruining Brady’s life, then for going after Lucas after Philip dumps her. Chloe accuses Sami of driving Lucas towards her because she has feelings for E.J. Sami denies having feelings for E.J., but Nicole begs to differ, revealing that E.J. told her everything. Sami throws a piece of pie at Nicole, but she ducks and E.J. gets a pie in the face instead. Nicole tries to keep a straight face as E.J. demands to know who started it. Nicole and Chloe point their fingers at Sami. The ladies start yelling at once and E.J. demands a word with Sami.

They go a table, where E.J. questions if she cares about anyone but herself. He mentions how Caroline doesn’t need anymore on her plate right now and doesn’t need Sami and “her girlfriends starting a bloody riot.” Sami asserts that she hates them and it’s none of his business. She drops the bomb that Lucas and Chloe had sex the same time he and Nicole were going at it in the elevator. E.J remarks how sexy and beautiful Chloe is and says she didn’t force Lucas to have sex with her. “She went after him. She seduced him,” sulks Sami. E.J. argues that it doesn’t really matter who seduced whom. After all, she’s not the one who took the ankle bracelet off of his leg. “Lucas slept with her because of you,” she scowls. E.J. quips how everything’s his fault.

Sami declares that she’s taking the twins and moving out of the mansion tonight, then storms out of the pub. “There goes the woman of your dreams. Aren’t you going to run after her?” Nicole asks E.J. He walks out. Nicole offers to buy “Miss Potato Head” Chloe a drink, promising that all bitters will stay in the cup. Chloe takes her up on it. Nicole asks Pete for a couple of drinks, but Pete is too busy cleaning up at the moment. The ladies sit down and Pete approaches them and asks if they’re finished fighting. They both apologize. Nicole orders her usual, which Pete remembers as a Dirty Martini with three olives up. She tells Chloe to order what she wants while she proceeds to call the hospital and check on Victor.

Nicole later mentions to Chloe how weird it is that they’re drinking together, but it beats drinking alone. “I try not to make a habit of it, unlike you,” she responds. Nicole recalls how there was a time when things between them were kind of friendly. Chloe accuses her of only pretending to be friendly so she could make a play for Brady. Nicole reminds her how she’s the one who wanted Brady to think she was dead. She then changes the topic to Lucas and wonders if Chloe told Philip. “He doesn’t even care. He’s too busy playing that southern sorority slut,” moans Chloe, who reveals that her name is Morgan Hollingsworth and is crying on Philip’s shoulder over her missing father. Nicole remarks how men are such suckers.

At the hospital, we see a brief replay of Friday’s show when Kate tells Daniel that Chelsea’s very upset about Victor. “All I want is for her to be happy, and she can never find out what happened between us, because it would kill her,” she says as Chelsea is nearby. Chelsea asks about Victor. Daniel informs the ladies that preliminary tests showed that Victor had an ischemic stroke. He assures her that Victor’s receiving a clot-busting drug and the effects could be remarkable, but cautions her that it could go either way. Chelsea and Kate ask about possible surgery, but Daniel states that they need to determine the extent of the damage and go from there. After Daniel walks off, Kate tries to assure Chelsea that Daniel will move heaven and earth to help Victor. Chelsea is confused as to why Kate refused to allow Daniel to operate on her if she thinks so highly of him. Kate claims he was busy, but Chelsea refutes that Daniel was fully ready to operate. Chelsea implores Kate to tell what the real story is, since she knows her grandma’s not one who’s willing to settle for second best.

Philip and Bo hold vigil by a sleeping Victor’s bedside, where they agree that the hospital is starting to feel like a second home. Philip hopes he’ll be okay. “I don’t wanna lose another father,” admits Bo. Philip expresses to Victor how he has a lot to learn about the business and about life. “I need you Dad. Please don’t leave me,” he pleads. Bo tries to assure his little brother that Victor’s going to make it. Bo recalls how Philip was too young to remember Victor’s first stroke, but he’s a survivor and there are a lot of people pulling for him. Philip wonders if Victor knew he wasn’t well, since he’s been stepping back and giving Phil more responsibility lately. A remorseful Philip admits to letting Victor down. Bo tries to assure Philip that Victor’s proud of him and everyone makes mistakes. Philip laments disappointing him. “I am proud,” confirms Victor as he awakens. Daniel enters and asks how Victor’s feeling. “Like hell,” answers Victor. Daniel requests for Philip and Bo to step out while he examines Victor.
