Lucas is escorted down to the police station and worries about Allie getting scared if he’s not around. The cops try to assure her that she’s safe and with social services. Lucas wants to make his phone call.

Sami is later cleaning up Johnny as E.J. assists with the task. They give each other a high five as E.J. remarks what a good team they make. Sami thanks him for helping and tells him he doesn’t have to stay, since her dad is coming. After E.J. leaves, Roman soon arrives and notes her quizzical look on her face. Nicole then walks in with some news. “It looks like your marriage to E.J. isn’t exactly what you think it is,” she implies. Sami wonders what that means, then says she’s not interested in Nicole’s opinions on her “soon-to-be former marriage.” Roman implores Nicole to say what’s on her mind, then leave. Sami then receives a call from Lucas at the police station. “I’m calling because I’m in jail, again,” he confesses.

Sami soon arrives at the station along with Roman. “Lucas, what the hell happened? How could you be so irresponsible?” she accuses. Lucas claims he just put her down for a second and reminds Sami how quick their daughter is. He pleads his case to Roman, who reminds Lucas that it’s the second time he’s broken house arrest. Sami demands to know where her daughter is. A social services worker brings Allie to Sami.

Lexie later meets Abe at the pub and admits how worried she is about Theo. She notes that Abe doesn’t seem concerned or worried. He apologizes for his lack of concern, but just doesn’t want to overanalyze the situation until they talk to his teacher.

John arrives at the mansion to see Philip, as he wouldn’t take no for an answer from Henderson. John confronts him about planting cocaine on his shipments. Philip claims he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. “You set me up, and now you have to pay,” warns John. Philip tells him that he has a lot of nerve and claims he didn’t do anything. John warns him that sooner or later someone in the Kiriakis organization will talk and when they do, John vows to be right there. Philip tells John that he won’t find anything tying him to the cocaine. John bets that Phil’s dealer will turn on him in a second if the price is right. Philip predicts that John will come up empty and believes John will be back in jail before he knows it. He rehashes how Stefano and Rolf rung at his mind like a wet sponge. “You made a stupid move planting that coke on me,” states John. “And you made a bad move starting this turf war!” counters Philip. “Thanks for admitting you planted the coke,” says John. Chloe then arrives back as John asks Philip if he sleeps with his eyes open. After John leaves, Chloe asks Philip what happened.

Philip later rants how John waltzes back from the dead and thinks he can destroy his business. Chloe tells him to let it go, referring to John as crazy. Philip insists he can’t, since John’s out to destroy him. “But you won’t let him,” predicts Chloe. Philip surmises that Chloe believes in him, which she confirms. Victor then arrives home from Europe and demands for Chloe to leave his house. Chloe suggests that maybe it’s easier if she leaves. Philip tells his dad he had no right to do that. “The hell I didn’t,” responds Victor, who refuses to put up with Chloe any longer. Philip asks how Brady’s doing. Victor previews that Brady still has a long recovery ahead of him, blaming it all on Chloe. Philip insists there are more important things to discuss, like John. Victor assures Philip that he’ll take care of John. Philip thought he was handling the she shipping business. Victor declares that Philip is through, since he got his hands dirty.

Max arrives at the docks and flashes back to Steph pestering him about the truth regarding Nick’s papers, then Steph continually asking him why he lied to her about being a genius. Max is then approached by his longshoreman boss, who tells him to get his butt to work. Max admits he’ll be glad when his community service is over, since he won’t have to take another order from a jerk like him. “Well I’m sick and tired of the courts assigning me worthless pieces of garbage who hide behind their family wealth,” responds the longshoreman. Max asserts that his family isn’t rich and he doesn’t know anything about him. “Your name may be Brady, but until you’re released from your community service, I own you punk,” taunts Max’s boss. Max loses his temper and punches his boss, who hits him back. Max knocks him to the ground. The commotion attracts attention from Morgan and Paul nearby. The longshoreman gets back up just as Nick and Steph arrive on the scene and inquire what’s going on. “The guy’s being a total jerk,” rants Max. The longshoreman warns Max that he’s done and walks off. “Max, what the hell is wrong with you?” questions Nick. Max yells at all of them and declares that the show’s over, then storms off. Steph, Nick, and Morgan are stunned by Max’s short fuse.

An angry Max is soon approached by John, who is there to check on a shipment. Max says he doesn’t have a shipment coming in today. “You’re right, I don’t. But Kiriakis does, and you’re gonna tell me all about it,” orders John. Max refuses to get caught in any turf war between the two families. John demands for him to reveal what he saw or heard. “Or you’ve got a problem!” asserts John as he manhandles Max. A belligerent Max pushes John back and urges John to take him on.

Morgan later arrives at the pub, followed by Paul. She admits she’s worried and demands to know what’s going on and how he’s involved. Paul insists that nothing’s going down at the docks, he just wants her to be safe.

E.J. later meets Mr. Burke, the immigration agent, outside the pub. The men later shake hands as E.J. expresses his appreciation for everything Mr. Burke is doing for his family. Mr. Burke assures him that he won’t tell anyone.

Nick later approaches a working Stephanie at the pub and reveals that he left a message for the dean. They both wish they could figure out what’s up with Max. Nick proceeds to head to class and tells Steph to let him know if he can do anything else to help.
