Steve and Kayla are incredulous that Stefano would drop the charges just like that. “I get it. You wanna get me out on the streets so you can whack me,” assumes Steve. Stefano refers to Steve’s assumption as ridiculous. Kayla is suspicious as to why Stefano’s suddenly dropping the charges. Stefano claims that one loss unites them: Benjamin. Steve warns him not to bring Benjy’s name up. Stefano implores the Johnson’s to let him honor Benjy’s memory. An officer informs them that Steve is free to go. Stefano mentions what a great comfort it is to know that Benjy’s death won’t count as vengeance, then leaves.

Steve wonders what happened to Stefano to make him change his mind. Kayla doesn’t reveal how she threatened Stefano’s life not so long ago. Steve insists they need to get Pocket home. Philip re-enters and introduces Mrs. Meyers from CPS. Philip reveals that the D.A. is building a case and charging them with endangerment of a minor. Steve and Kayla are astonished. Kayla asks Mrs. Meyers about Pocket. Mrs. Meyers claims she’s not at liberty to discuss the situation. Steve predicts all her investigation will prove is that the baby is happy and safe with them. “Then how did he end up in the hospital twice?” refutes Philip. Mrs. Meyers affirms that for now on the baby will be assigned to two new foster parents, then excuses herself. Kayla despairs over never seeing Pocket again, then shows a picture of the baby to Philip before the men start arguing again. Philip is moved by the picture and asks if he can keep it.

At the Cheatin’ Heart, the girls cheer wildly as Max does a striptease from the waist up. Steph displays her jealousy as Morgan bids $500 on Max. Chelsea announces that Max is sold to Morgan , who raves how she loves Chelsea and Stephanie. She invites Ford to get in line next and commends Adrienne for providing all the free beer and pizza. Chelsea turns the music on as Ford tries to “sell himself.” He takes his shirt off, which elicits cheers from the ladies. Meanwhile, Chelsea thanks Max for contributing to the worthy cause, then walks off. Max gloats to Stephanie how he won a date with a supermodel, noting how hot Morgan is. “If you’re into the slash and burn type, yeah,” adds Stephanie as she glances back at her rival. She claims that Morgan is a total flirt and begins to dish about Morgan’s last boyfriend, but Max isn’t interested in the details. “Anytime you want to thank me for pulling your auction out of the fire, I’ll be at the bar,” he states before he joins a flirtatious Morgan.

Meanwhile, Chelsea thanks Morgan for getting the ball rolling on the auction while Ford continues to dance seductively on center stage. Chelsea reveals that she and Max have a “family connection.” Morgan raves how hot Max is and how different he is from the other beer guzzling guys. Chelsea then makes the introductions between Max and Morgan as Stephanie glares across the room with envy.

Cordy approaches Steph and notes how gorgeous Ford is. Stephanie encourages her to bid. Cordy speculates that a guy like Ford won’t go out with her. Stephanie raises her hand and announces that Cordy’s in for $200, then tells Cordy how Ford would be lucky to land a date with her. The price keeps going up as Cordy bids $300. Adrienne declares that Ford is sold for that price. Chelsea congratulates Cordy and notes that Morgan’s rather busy at the moment, as she’s getting cozy with Max at the bar. Cordy displays her insecurity as she surmises that Ford’s only going out with her because he has to. Steph assures her that Ford’s the lucky one. Chelsea raves how they’ve already pulled in $800 and how Morgan’s loving the auction. Steph accuses Chelsea of waltzing Morgan over to Max. Chelsea says she thought they should meet before their date and reminds Stephanie how ending things with Max, getting into Alpha Chi Theta, and the whole auction deal were her ideas. “I’m just trying to be Max’s friend,” claims Stephanie. “Maybe Max doesn’t want to be friends,” shrugs Chelsea. Steph affirms that Jeremy’s out of her life. Chelsea suspects that Stephanie’s jealous and advises her to go work the crowd and forget about Max and Morgan.

At the bar, Max gives Morgan the scoop on his recent bad luck. She is intrigued with Max’s honesty about his life story. Steph then announces on the microphone that break time is over. Adrienne summons Tommy to the front as the next bachelor. Steph participates in the bidding, but loses. A shirtless Tommy is sold for $285. Chelsea then makes the introductions between Ford and Cordy. Ford asks a flustered Cordy out on a date for tomorrow, which she agrees to. Cordy refers to herself as nuts, claiming that Ford’s only being nice to her because she paid for a date. Chelsea offers to swing by the sorority house with Steph and help Cordy get all dolled up for her date. Morgan then walks over and gives Chelsea the good news that she and Stephanie completely blew away the competition and are in the sorority. Chelsea hugs her in delight and thanks her.

Meanwhile, Stephanie apologizes to Max for not thanking him earlier. Max guzzles his beer as she attempts to dissuade him from dating Morgan. She claims she doesn’t want him to be crushed when a better offer comes cruising by in a convertible and Morgan hops in. Max blasts her for warning him about Morgan or any other girl and rehashes how Jeremy came back to Salem and Steph jumped right in. He gloats how Morgan’s going to get her money’s worth plus a whole lot more.

Chelsea later announces the tally as $1,695. Adrienne thanks the guys for their participation and advises them to see her if they need a designated driver. She applauds Stephanie and Chelsea for organizing the auction. Steph takes the microphone and offers a special thanks for Max. Chelsea implores the gang to party, then shares the good news with Stephanie that they got into the sorority house. Steph doesn’t appear too thrilled and is more concerned about Max and Morgan. She implores Chelsea to follow the two on their date with her. Chelsea balks at this idea, since they could be the first sisters to be thrown out of the sorority for their actions.
